VH-EWE flew with East West Airlines with a DC-3-style passenger door. After it was sold it was soon refitted with a C-47 double cargo door and used for freight work.-EWE was withdrawn from use in 1983 and became a McDonald's restaurant in Adelaide. It was painted in its original registration of VH-AER but the TAA livery applied was later than any it wore with that airline. -EWE is now held on a farm at Karoonda, South Australia.
