This a/c was lost in a crash at Indian Springs Auxiliary Field (now Creech AFB) north west of Las Vegas on the night of 21 September 1981. The a/c landed short of the runway, caught fire, and was totally destroyed. There were 68 aboard, including crew. Seven US Army Rangers perished.
