This aircraft has been retro-fitted with a Thielert Centurion 1.7 diesel engine. Based on a very modified Mercedes auto engine the engine will run on Jet A-1 or on diesel fuel. Constant speed variable pitch propellors are always fitted to these engines which achieve a massive saving in running costs.
