Originally built for USAAF as P-51D s/n 44-74452. After USAAF/USAF service it was transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force, and eventually ended up with the Guatemalan Air Force. Repatriated back to the U.S. and was in private storage from 1972-2001. Restoration was completed in 2002. Note- the FAA site erroneously has this a/c listed as 44-75452.
