This Hoplite was first reported in May 1995 and was retired around October 1995. The frame was stored at Szolnok, Szentkirályszabadja and then Mezöfalva before being rescued by this super collection south of Budapest. It is in a queue for restoration and so it is great that it won't just rot away to dust somewhere. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
