Acquired by Florida Air Transport in early 2010, the DC-4 was flown from Ryan Field to Opa-locka Airport, where it arrived on February 4, 2010. ARDCO titles are still in place on this photo and were painted over two days later. Belly tank already removed. A cargo liner and floor was installed but the aircraft was rarely used as a freighter before being converted to a aerial dispersant sprayer.
