ZE254 made its first flight on 12 March 1987 and was delivered to the RAF on 20 March 1987. The F3 served 5 Sqd was involved in a little incident and was rebuilt with F2 parts at St. Athan in late 1994, served 43 Sqd, 56 Sqd, 5 Sqd, 11 Sqd , 25 Sqd the Coningsby ASF, and was eventually stored at Leeming in the fall of 2008 and stripped for spares.
