The Israeli Air Force base at Tel Nof near Rehovot had a number of preserved aircraft on display inside the main gate to the base including this Douglas C-47 wearing the serial number 59. A number of the aircraft at Tel Nof were later moved to the IAF Museum at Hatzerim AFB. The version and actual ID of this C-47 is not known as well as its current status.
