In late May 2007, the Toronto Aerospace Museum hosted a 60th anniversary DHC-2 Beaver homecoming and symposium in the original de Havilland Aircraft of Canada factory where the Beaver was born. Viking Aircraft flew this aircraft (recovered from the Pima Air Museum and converted to a Turbo Beaver) from Victoria to Downsview to attend the homecoming and it became the "star" of the TV documentary "The Immortal Beaver" (which can now be viewed on YouTube https://youtu.be/b2hZe9ToaEI ). It's seen here landing in Toronto harbour with the CN Tower in the background. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I. Swartz, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
