This is one of only two single-seat L-29A Akrobats produced. It was converted from the prototype OK-02 (cn 00031) in 1967, given the test registration OK-05 and then delivered to the Czechoslovak AF as 0517 . The aircraft was presented at the Paris air show as OK-SZA under the exhibit number 804 (note '804' and 'Akrobat' are on the port side only) but is now on display at this super museum. Note the dolphin (delfin in Czech) on the side was painted by the famous Czech cartoonist Paul Kantonek. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
