Imperial Airways sent this early DH.86 to the Far East in September 1935 to explore a branch route from Penang to Hong Kong, which was inaugurated by Dorado in March 1936. The aircraft stayed in the Far East until 1940 when it was transferred to Africa. This photo was added on 13 December 2021, and has since been viewed 442 times. |
