Avia was an airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa, founded in the late 1980s. It started international operations in May 1995 but filed for bankruptcy in August of the same year. Their only route was from Johannesburg to London-Gatwick using this 747SP leased from South African. Delivered to South African Airways as ZS-SPC in 1976. Leased to Air Mauritius as 3B-NAG in 1984 and returned to South African Airways in 1994. Preserved with the South African Airways Museum at Rand from 2006.
