The prototype Bombardier Dash 8-400 is seen landing on runway 15 at Downsview Airport, Toronto. The aircraft made its first flight on January 31, 1998 (the end of the Bombardier fiscal year) wearing the registration C-FJJA which is a tribute to de Havilland Canada flight test Jackson "Jock" Aitken who died suddenly a few months earlier. The aircraft first flew in green primer paint and then blue and white Q400 markings until receiving this colour scheme. The aircraft was based at the Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita until Bombardier sold DHC in June 2019 and C-FJJA returned to Canada. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
