This G-988 is former a former EC-130Q of Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 4 (BuNo 162313). and was stored at AMARG as 2G0016 from Sep'91. It became N9239G with Airplane Sales Int'l Co and was moved from AMARG in 2005. The aircraft was acquired by the KLu in nov'05, flown to Marshalls in Cambridge in Jun'06 for a mayor update to KLu standard. It was first seen in KLu grey colours while performing testruns at Cambridge Feb'09. Its first flight as C-130H was on 2 Jul'09. It is named Willem den Toom since late 2010.
