This C-47 was built in 1944 and served with the Navy as 50814. It then passed to the US Army Electronics Command for use as an airborne electronic test bed. In 1975 it became civil as N48211. It is now enjoying retirement in this new scheme at the super Southern Museum of Flight. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
