This Hip-C was originally delivered to the NVA in April 1970 as 627. It was slated to go to the Volkspolizei as DDR-VHC but German reunfication intervened and it went instead to the Luftwaffe as 9419. In November 1992 it was transferred to the Polizei Brandenburg as D-HOZC and flew until retirement in October 1996. It is now preserved on the roof of this restaurant in Schlotheim.
