With Aeroperlas this aircraft Crashed into the Caribbean Sea shortly after take-off from Isla Contadora, Panama on 18 April, !990, after multiple bird strikes. The failure of the No. 2 engine caused the aircraft to enter a descending turn which continued until impact with the sea. There were 20 fatalities and 2 survivors. Factory regn was CF-DHT.
