After its military career, this Naval reserve Cat was retired to AMARC with inventory code 1K0012 in August 1990. It departed AMARG as AN1K0012 on 4 April 2005 with a sad destination, HVF West where it was scrapped. 158994 was delivered to the US Navy on 17 May 1974 and VF-2 was its first user. It then served VF-1, VF-124 before its was assigned to VF-301 Devils Desciples. VF-301 was disestablished on 31 December 1994.
