Shown on the belly is a clue to where the counting started to celebrate 80 years "Lorraine". Integrated into the RAF as No. 342 Squadron in April 1943, this unit of the Free French Forces was established as Groupe de Bombardement No. 1 "Lorraine" on 24 November 1941.
