This C-54 is a Berlin Airlift veteran and after her time in Germany served at Olmsted AFB, PA before being retired to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 1964. Fortunately she was saved, from what would have been an earth-shattering end, by the Museum of Aviation in 1984. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
