In Poland, various versions of the Yak-18 were used by the armed forces between the years 1950-1978, after which they passed on to aeroclubs. This particular exhibit has an unknown military heritage and so wears fake marks. It is a former Aeroklub Krakówski plane registered SP-BRI and it came to the museum in June 1972.
