Seen here taxi-ing for Prestwick's then Runway 31, fitted with airborne early warning radar and serving with 8 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth. After retirement in 1991, ferried to the USA where it spent time at the Polar Air Museum, Minnesota, and on the CAF ramp at Midland, Texas. As the world's last airworthy Mark 2, it made its final flight on 16 December 2007 to Tucson Pima County Air and Space Museum, Arizona. This photo is copyright © David A.
