The two Alpha Jets tried to depart earlier and the Learjet 35 mother ship had gone ahead. There had been a heavy overnight ground frost, which the lead captain noticed on the runway as they backtracked. When he asked tower for a braking index they did not have anything as the airport staff had not gone out to check. So here they sit - mission scrubbed.
