Delivered to Aerlinte Eireann as EI-ACR in 1947 then sold to BOAC as G-ALAK in 1948. Here on lease to Skyways, which ran until June 1962 when it was transferred to Euravia at Luton (EGGW). In 1965 it went to ACE Freighters, then languished at Coventry (EGBE) from 1966 to 1968 when it was delivered to Miami (KMIA) as CP-797. Sold as OB-R-899 with the manufacturer's plate transferred from c/n 2549. Believed scrapped at Lima, Peru in the 1970s. This photo was added on 9 February 2022, and has since been viewed 778 times. |
