Originally in US Navy service from 1955 as 138330. Transferred to the State of Alaska Department of Forestry, whose logo it carries. Operated from 1984-95 as a "bird dog" spotter aircraft for firebombers, and seen here on summer standby for that role over the wider area of Fairbanks, AK. This photo is copyright © David A.
