US Coast Guard Sikorsky HH-52A, 1440, at CGAS North Bend at what is now known as Southwest Oregon Regional Airport (KOTH) in January 1985. The helicopter is painted in the overall red colour scheme used by USCG helicopters assigned to Polar operations at that time. In 2022, the air station operates five MH-65D Dolphin helicopters and is responsible for an area from Pacific City, Oregon, south to the California border, west to the 50nm offshore, and east to the I-5 highway corridor.
