First flew as G-BBVW in 1976 before delivery to CAAC as B-288 in 1977. Reregistered as B-2217 in 1985. To Guangzhou Civil Aviation College as a ground trainer at the old Guangzhou-Baiyun airport in 1989. The college aircraft collection moved to the new airport around 2004.
