Built for Trans Australia Airlines as VH-TAD in 1946 and here possibly on an immigrant charter judging by the crowd. In 1963 it went to Trans Atlantic Airlines as N6531D and scrapped at Delhi (Palam) circa 1965. [I love how these one-horse airlines (of which no trace can be found) have such overblown names to draw in the punters.] This photo was added on 7 March 2022, and has since been viewed 846 times. |
