Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76984 then to the RNZAF as NZ3545 in 1945. Registered as ZK-AZL in 1953. Became the first DC-3 to be used for aerial topdressing. Withdrawn from use in 1974, and preserved at Mystery Creek Showground, Hamilton, NZ from 1984. Moved to Te Kowhai Airfield in 2019.
