Prototype Ryan PT-21. Retained by Ryan. Tested on floats as the ST-3S and fitted with a canopy as shown in the photo, presumably in hope of picking up an RCAF order. Disposed of to a civil operator (postwar?) as an ST-3KR. Registration cancelled in 1951. Not known if it continued to have the canopy.
