This A-4C was assigned to VA-195 aboard USS Bon Homme Richard in 1965. The carrier was operating in the Tonkin Gulf conducting combat operations. It appears 147755 diverted to Da Nang prior to dropping its ordnance, which consists of Mk.82 500 lb. bombs. The nose fuses have been removed from the bombs, and a USAF crew appears to be downloading them from the a/c. This a/c was damaged beyond repair on 18 August 1971 at NAS Glynco, GA.
