In the 1950s, the engineer Igor Bensen developed the Gyro-copter with a rear engine and propeller. The Gary RG.01 is a subsequent modified version in terms of controls, aerodynamic surfaces and fairing. This is the only example built. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
