On this day in 1945, Eelde was liberated by the 2 Canadian infantry division. 77 years later, the Canadian armed forces are back with (again) their beautiful retro CC-150. They took part in the Frisian Flag exercise at Leeuwarden Air Base these past 2 weeks and are now flying their support (personnel & equipment) back home. They were not only kind enough to send us a few Polaris flights, but also a number of CC-177's (C-17's).
