Thirty minutes or so earlier the barge carrying this EA-6B had arrived at the quayside beside the USS Midway, from the museum's restoration facility on NAS North Island. The Prowler is pictured being gently lifted on to the carrier to become the latest in an impressive line up of Naval aircraft on deck. Note the starboard side carries VAQ-132 USS America markings, whereas the port side carries those from (appropriately) VAQ-136 USS Midway. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
