The C-22J was a light jet-powered military trainer similar in appearance to earlier Caproni gliders, although the Ventura had an almost entirely metal structure. The basic C22J trainer was exhibited at the Farnborough Air Show in 1980 and 1982, but failed to attract any orders and the program was dropped. A further proposed reconnaissance version, the C22R was not then built. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
