These are the remains, mostly engines and cannon, of a Kampfgeschwader 51 'Edelweiss' Me-262 that crashed at Eberbach-Selz on 14th January 1945. The pilot, Leutnant Oswald Ritter von Rittersheim, was killed and is buried in the cemetary at Bergzaben. Please get in touch if the Werk Nummer (serial) of this plane is known.
