This C-1A is in the Kabuki scheme. This paint scheme is to celebrate the 2nd Tactical Airlift Group's 60th anniversary. The theme for the design is called kabuki. A kabuki actor's heavy eye make up can be made out around the cockpit windows. Proposed by a 402nd Squadron flight engineer, Master Sgt Shōta Gotō, the design also features a kabuki actor's face on the tail, engine nacelles and, on the upper surfaces of the wings.
