Forward fuselage section of this Meteor in the HAM compound. The aeroplane had arrived dismantled on 16th January 1972 from Kemble and had previously served with the College of Air Warfare. The museum opened on 27th May 1972 but closed again in May 1983 when the contents were auctioned. The Meteor fetched £6,500.
