Rebuilt as R4D-8 17116 from c/n 12028 in 1952. Redesignated as a C-117D in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 6C057 in 1978. Sold as N116DT in 1985. To Millardair as C-GJGQ in 1990. Scrapped at Sidney, BC in 2011. Nose section preserved at British Columbia Aviation Museum, Victoria, BC from 2002.
