Rebuilt as R4D-8 50834 from c/n 26993 in 1952. Redesignated as a C-117D in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 6C047 in 1977. Registered as N834D in 1984. Preserved at the Marine Corps Air Ground Museum, Quantico VA by 1990. Moved to Cherry Point MCAS, NC by 1992. In dereclict condition by 1998. Still there in 2012.
