Rebuilt as R4D-8 12443 from c/n 9756 in 1952. Redesignated as a R4D-8T in 1961, a TC-117D in 1962 and a C-117D in 1968. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 6C016 in 1971. Registered as N5597T in 1980 then N873SN in 1984 and RP-C473 in 1990, Crashed into a rice field at Santa Rosa, Philippines after hitting power lines.
