Designed and constructed in the USA by Richard Jameson, with the intention to become a homebuilt kit aircraft. The aircraft featured a single 65hp engine, fixed tricycle gear and a single seat cockpit. The construction began in 1968, with a first flight in 1972. By the end of February 1974, the aircraft had logged 200 hours of testing. By November 2012, the aircraft was no longer registered in the USA. At some point, it turned up at this airfield. This is the only Gipsy Hawk ever built. It's former US registration appears to have been N71RJ.
