Delivered to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) on 8 July 1971. Was immediately assigned to 313sq at Twente air base. It was repainted in a boring grey scheme in November 1987 and was transferred to 316sq at Gilze Rijen air base in June 1988. K-4016 received, as the final Dutch Freedom Fighter, an large overhaul in November 1990. It was sold as 71-4016 to Türkiye on 21 January 1991. After an operational career with 132 and 133 Filo, it served Turk Yildizlari, the Turkish display team. It is preserved at Pinerbasi air base since August 2018.
