This Starfighter was built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia as F-104S. It was modified to ASA-M (Modificato) by Alenia at Torino Casel-le and redelivered to Grosseto on 8 January 2002. It made its last flight - in a black colour scheme - on 14 October 2004. The Starfighter has been preserved on a pole at Grosseto since early 2008.
