Second edition of the Miami All American Air Races at Miami Municipal Airport. NX542N is a Curtiss Thrush. The races moved to adjacent All American Field later. Both airfields were used by the US Navy during WWII. Municipal Airport was briefly named Amelia Earhart Field before it closed.
