Delivered to the Schweizer Flugwaffe on 8 November 1966. It was repainted and modified with canards in 1991. J-2311 was the "gold" goodbye Swiss Mirage 3S at Buochs-Ennetbürgen to symbolize the golden era. The aircraft was stored from March 2000 at Buochs and eventually scrapped at Stans.
