Delivered to Türkiye as part of the Military Assistance Program (MAP) in 1986. The Freedom Fighter was assigned to 152 Filo and served the 3 AJÜ from 1989. The dual seat F-5 took part in a squadron rotation at Leeuwarden (as pictured). It was withdrawn from use by June 2013 and most probably stored at Konya air base. This photo was added on 26 June 2022, and has since been viewed 308 times. |
