This is an active Blue Angel F/A-18E positioned on the National Naval Aviation Museum's aircraft wash pad.165667 was one of the F/A-18 aircraft used in the filming of the new "Top Gun" movie. After the filming was complete it was flown to NAS Jacksonville, Fl. where it underwent the modifications needed for use by the Blue Angels. 2022 is the second show season that the Super Hornet has been used by the team.
