Delivered to BOAC as G-ASGF in 1965. Merged into British Airways in 1974. Flew last VC-10 commercial flight then to the RAF at Brize Norton in 1981. Allocated serial ZD234 and maintenance serial 8700M. Nose section used for testing K.3 tanker conversion. Remains used for fire training and lasted until 1991.
