202 Filo is based at Diyarbakır air base in eastern Türkey. The squadrons name is "Şark" which means East, depicting the location on the Turkish map but it sounds like... likewise the squadron marking on the tail... Shark. This 235 made its first flight in April 1996 and was delivered to the Turkish Air Force on 21 May 1996. Its full construction number is C-112/TK-123. The aircraft served 223 Filo, 125 Filo and 223 Filo again before it was transferred to the current (as pictured) 202 Filo.
